Capri is an Italian island located in the Gulf of Naples; currently it is regarded as one of the most important tourist destinations in the whole Italian Peninsula because of its outstanding beauty and incredible vitality. For this reason, Capri is also known as the “Pearl of the Mediterranean”.
By joining the “From Naples to Capri tour”, visitors will have the privilege to see for themselves the blooming nature characterizing the island, such as the vital flora, the island’s natural caves, the shining sea enclosing the island and the breath-taking panoramas that Capri offers.
First of all, our visitors will arrive at Marina Grande, the main port of the island; this place will result to be quite dynamic and crowded because it includes both the commercial and the touristic ports. Once in Capri, there will be the possibility to explore the famous Grotta Azzurra, also called the Blue Grotto. What makes this natural cave astonishing is the intense blue water shimmering because of the sunlight coming through the cave openings. Once entered the Blue Grotto, visitors will have the perception to be absorbed in a magic dimension. (This visit is optional in the “from Naples to Capri tour”).
Furthermore, this tour also includes the visit of Anacapri, located at the higher part of the island. It can entertain tourists in a pleasant way with some very interesting places to visit, such as St. Sofia church, or the Villa San Michele (also known as the Axel Munthe’s house), famous for the archaeological finds recovered by Munthe in Capri. We find fragments of sarcophagi, busts, Roman floors, marble and columns, and in the beautiful garden, a granite sphinx dominates the whole island of Capri from the belvedere.
Finally, what will make this place really unforgettable is the possibility to observe the Bay of Naples in all its splendor by reaching Mount Solaro‘s peak through a chairlift.
