The art’s exhibitions can be a good reason to organize a trip through city discovery tours. It will be a synonymous with beauty and knowledge.  And right now Italy is hosting a nice slice to discover art. From the shots of Kertész in Genoa to those of McCurry in Pavia, through the paintings of Picasso and De Chirico in Brescia and the drawings of Correggio and Guercino in Modena, up to the collective imagination of the 2000s on show in Catanzaro. Your journey to discovery city with art can start from here.

BRESCIA – From futurism to metaphysics, from “Return to order” to informal art in a path of surprising beauty: this is the exhibition “Picasso, De Chirico, Morandi, 100 masterpieces of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries from the private collections of Brescia, set up at Palazzo Martinengo from 20 January to 10 June, which presents a selection of works of the most beautiful and important residences of Brescia and its province.The review, curated by Davide Dotti, is an opportunity to admire the likes of Balla, Boccioni , Depero, De Chirico, Savinius, Severini, Morandi, Carrà, De Pisis, Sironi, Burri, Manzoni, Vedova and Fontana Among the works, also the fomous “Still Life with the Head of a Bull”, an oil on canvas exhibited for the first vault, painted by Picasso in 1942.

GENOVA – A seaside town, between historical events, exhibitions to discover art walks in the Ligurian capital, without forgetting a visit to the Aquarium, We need to get from the sea to understand Genoa, because it is from the water that the Ligurian capital has built its way to being and his fortune. It is set in Genoa at the Palazzo Ducale foundation from 24 February to 16 June.A ‘visual diary’ with intimate and poetic tones that reveals the expressive power of small things is what emerges in the great retrospective dedicated to André Kertész. It is curated by Denis Curti.

PAVIA – If you went in Pavia you would live symbolic journey of emotions and experiences conducted between India, Afghanistan, Burma, Japan, Cuba and Brazil that proposed by the exhibition Steve McCurry. Among the works is the portrait, now become an icon, by Sharbat Gula, the Afghan girl that McCurry has photographed in the refugee camp of Peshawar.

MODENA – The Gallery Estense in Modena hosts from February 17 to May 13 a selection of drawings by authors such as Correggio, Nicolò dell’Abate and Lelio Orsi, Ludovico, Annibale and Agostino Carracci, the Scarsellino, Guido Reni and Guercino in the large exhibition entitled ‘ From Correggio to Guercino. Masterpieces on paper from the Este dukes’ collection. The works on display, from free studies of invention to real preparatory drawings, come from the great heritage of the collections kept in the Gallery’s store.

CATANZARO – The collective exhibition curated by Luca Beatrice, set up from January 13 to March 20 at the Marca Museo delle Arti in Catanzaro, is titled ‘The Millennium is Age’, which offers a focus on the 2000s and its protagonists. Starting from obsolete objects and people, such as telephone cards, cassettes, floppy disks, Lira, but also the Twin Towers, Oasis and Gianfranco Fini, and coming to those who have now replaced them, from the smartphone to Facebook and Spotify, from the Euro to Netflix, to Justin Bieber, the Movimento 5 Stelle and Matteo Renzi, the exhibition itinerary tells the first 18 years of the new millennium through the gaze of 10 artists who were completing their studies in 2000, or moving the first steps.

The Chiostro del Bramante in Rome are cloisters from the early 16th century, now used for hosting art exhibitions, conferences and concerts. It is considered to be one of the high points of Renaissance architecture in Rome.

The building is part of the complex that also includes the adjacent Santa Maria della Pace church, home to the famous fresco Sibyls by Raphael, and was designed by the architect and painter Donato Bramante, one of the most prominent artists of the Renaissance.
